Method Detail

fromString

public static DeviceId fromString(java.lang.String deviceId)

Creates a new Device ID object from string. Method is case insensitive.

Parameters:

deviceId - String representation of MAC deviceId to be parsed.

Returns:

Parsed MacAddress object.

fromBytes

public static DeviceId fromBytes(byte[] deviceId)

Creates a new Device ID from array of bytes.

Parameters:

deviceId - Byte representation of device ID.

Returns:

DeviceId object.

fromBytes

public static DeviceId fromBytes(byte[] deviceId,
                                 int offset,
                                 int len)

Creates a new Device ID from array of bytes.

Parameters:

deviceId - Byte representation of device ID.

Returns:

DeviceId object.

toBytes

public byte[] toBytes()

Converts MacAddress to raw array with MAC bytes.

Returns:

Raw device ID bytes.

toString

public java.lang.String toString()

Returns human readable representation of device ID. It is lowercase and inside square brackets. For eg. [abcd00123456].

This method should be used for debugging purposes. To obtain formatted device ID use proper to*String() method.

Human readable MAC-deviceId.

toHexString

public java.lang.String toHexString()

Returns string representation of device ID - six hexadecimal numbers, lowercase without separators. For eg. abcd00123456

Returns:

String representation of MAC deviceId.
